This is the 2000th central Europe (Central Asia) train entering and leaving the country through Horgos port in Xinjiang this year. On the same day, 17 Central European (Central Asia) trains were departing through Horgos station, setting a new record for the station to leave central Europe (Central Asia) trains in a single day.

Under the new situation of epidemic prevention and control, China Europe train has undertaken a large number of outbound freight business transferred by sea and air, becoming an important carrier for transporting medical and living materials, and has played a key role in ensuring the stability of the global industrial chain supply chain.

Xinjiang Railway gives full play to the channel advantages of Alashankou and Horgos ports, optimizes the transportation organization, and improves the efficiency of train clearance. The number of Central European (Central Asian) lines has steadily increased, and it runs a beautiful upward curve. In the first half of this year, the total number of outbound trains from Horgos railway port to central Europe (Central Asia) reached 1823, with a total volume of 2.57 million tons of import and export goods, with a year-on-year increase of 22.43% and 48.03%, respectively. The volume of outbound trains ranked first in China.

"Since the beginning of the second quarter, with the increase of import and export volume and the use of the new customs system, Horgos station has made research and judgment in advance, strengthened the communication, coordination and contact with the customs and Kazakhstan, so as to achieve the key trains' arrival, release and translation." Horgos Station freight workshop director Shi Hongjun said.

With the continuous increase of traffic volume, Horgos station implements fine management on all aspects of production and operation, continuously optimizes the operation process, scientifically formulates daily shift operation plan and focuses on the implementation, reasonably arranges shunting machine operation, train splitting, vehicle pick-up and delivery alignment, shortens ticket making transmission and change loading time, actively coordinates joint inspection units, and implements synchronous and alternate operation of uncoupling, inspection and release, Realize the "come and go" train, and ensure the rapid customs clearance of China Europe (Central Asia) train. Up to now, the average stay time of trains at the station has been shortened from 12 hours to 6 to 8 hours.

Promoted by a series of effective measures, Horgos railway port has achieved the goal of delivering 14 trains abroad for many consecutive days. On July 12, the number of trains delivered at the exit of the station exceeded 16, and that on July 14 reached 17, breaking production records many times.

"We insist on 24-hour customs clearance, set up special windows for China EU trains, and go through all kinds of customs clearance procedures quickly and simply. In particular, the new customs manifest system and the railway digital port system which we have promoted recently have realized the docking, and the release has changed from manual audit to systematic audit, and the work efficiency has increased by more than 60%

At present, there are more than 10 China Europe (Central Asia) trains entering and leaving the country through the Horgos railway port, with more than 100 types of goods, covering more than 20 cities in China, and building an international logistics transportation network extending in all directions.
